Building a Roadmap for a Railway
Overview of mission
SiaXperience partnered with VIA Rail, Canada’s national railway, to co-design and implement an innovation strategy. We designed and led a number of workshops intended to push internal teams to find new ways to improve customer and employee experiences.
SiaX led various workshops, including:
- Leading group of 50 employees from 7 different departments into reinventing the train station of the future. Inspired by the design fiction methodology, employees were invited to project themselves into 2030 and to prototype future stations that would deliver a better customer experience.
- Using the design thinking approach to lead a team into designing a new internal communications platform to allow train employees to be in constant contact with station employees.
