In his 2017 letter to shareholders, CEO Larry Fink celebrated BlackRock’s 30th anniversary by remembering what his parents taught him as a child about the importance of consistently investing for the future. Staying true to the principles of fiduciary responsibility and maintaining its focus on performance and innovation have helped BlackRock grow to become a firm with 14,000 employees, entrusted with $6.3 trillion in assets for clients in more than 100 countries.

We helped BlackRock bring its anniversary to life with an annual report cover that conveys the essential meaning of fiduciary responsibility in two words: For You. We created a rich-media digital report with animation and videos to supplement the print report. A commemorative edition with excerpts from the report was issued to all employees, along with a handwritten note from Larry.
