On August 11, for the second year in a row, Addison partnered with Materials for the Arts for an employee engagement and volunteer event in their Long Island City warehouse.
A team of cheerful Addisonians spent the day sorting, folding and organizing a wide variety of donated items in MFTA’s warehouse, where reusable materials are made available, free of charge, to nonprofits and government organizations with arts programming, including New York City public schools.
“As a company we are committed to building on our long and deep culture of giving back through group activities and volunteer opportunities such as this one that promotes the arts, education and sustainability in New York City,” said Roger Byrom, CEO of Addison. “Teaming up with Materials for the Arts again was a natural choice by our employee-led CSR Council as an exciting way for Addison to work in our community on something that really makes a difference.”
