ADDISON HELPS CERES SPREAD ITS 20•20 VISION IN PRINT AND ONLINE
March, 2009 - Seeking a bold design that encourages action toward a sustainable global economy, Ceres turned to Addison for strategic design services.

Addison responded by illustrating the Ceres 20•20 vision with a dynamic micro site accessible from the Ceres home page, along with a companion print brochure.

The micro site uses dramatic typography to state current world burdens, and then provides clear steps towards change. Enhanced interactive elements, such as a scrolling timeline and "growing" trajectory charts, are used throughout to bring the site's detailed information to life.

The site also highlights Ceres’ 20 years of success, its growing leverage, and its vision to improve the capital markets for a more livable, safe and just future. Setting ambitious goals, the vision’s four pillars are to:
  • Ensure honest accounting by integrating the full costs of environmental and social factors
  • Set new standards and expectations on sustainability disclosure, performance and corporate governance
  • Change the rules of the game with policies to encourage a long-term perspective rather than short-term financial performance
  • Accelerate green innovation by pushing for energy efficiency, renewable energy, low-carbon products and sustainable supply chains
An oversized complementary print piece, suitable for display as a poster, unfolds to reveal a diagrammatic representation of the Ceres vision.

"Addison translated our message into a powerful and memorable design," said Ceres president, Mindy Lubber. "The interactivity of both designs propels readers from Ceres’ track record to our urgent goals, and effectively makes the case for direct participation and financial support."
